OrcaBoard® Recycled Plastic Lumber is made from recyled milk jugs (HDPE). It is designed to meet the increasing demand for durable, maintenance free products including plastic lumber, park benches, picnic tables, dock & deck boxes, raised flower beds and other unique products for speciallized applications.

This plastic lumber is offered in several attractive colors, including: Weathered
Wood, Hunter Green, Arctic White and Cedar which are pigmented solid throughout
to insure a long lasting quality look to the product. Slight tint variation
can results from different raw material feed stocks, but the variations should
fall within the color quality spectrum. OrcaBoard™ is colorfast and maintains
its original appearance.
Plastic lumber products are manufactured from co-mingled recycled thermoplatics. To obtain color and other desirable physical and processing properties, various additives and pigments must be incorporated into the plastics which normally amount to 5% to 10% of the finished product. To further enhance a particular product's physical characteristics, impact modifiers, reinforcing agents and compatibilizers may be added. These can also be found in the recycled materials markets.
Ultraviolet stabilizers are incorporated where necessary to insure and enhance the long life characteristics of the colors and plastics used. There may be slight fading over long outdoor exposure. Commercially available products such as 'Armor All' can revitalize the appearance of plastic lumber.
Paintability
OrcaBoard™ is colorfast and maintains its original appearance. We do not recommend painting your recycled plastic lumber as most paints will not adhere for any significant period of time.
Warranty
The manufacturer warranty carries a 50 year guarantee against rot and insects. All metal parts carry a 25 year guarantee against rust-out. The manufacturer will replace all defective parts being returned to the manufacturing facility.
Flexibility
Plastic lumber is a wood substitute, NOT a wood replacement. It is 5 to 6 time more flexible than wood.
Outdoor Elements Resistant
Plastic lumber is resistant to all insects, termites, boring worms, micro activity, mold, mildew, saltwater, and wet rot found in oudoor environments and will not splinter, or rot. It does not absorb moisture or promote bacterial or barnacle growth. This resistance is accomplished without any hazardous chemicals as those utilized in the pressure treatment of wood.

Lifetime Benches and Tables will be free from defects in workmanship, or from defects in materials caused by workmanship, for ninety (90) days from purchase, and from other defects in materials for fifty (50) years from purchase, except that defects in the legs of the Bench and/or Table that are not caused by workmanship shall be warranted for a period of fifteen (15) years for plastic and one year (1) for metal. This warranty does not apply to defects caused by improper use, maintenance, or repair, or to damages occurring in shipment, attributable to acts of God, or resulting from use or installation contrary to the DURABLE PLASTIC DESIGN, LLC. instructions. All claims under this warranty must be in brought in writing within 30 days of the date of discovery and sent to DURABLE PLASTIC DESIGN, LLC. or
